AI helps recreate lost memories in documentary film
Filmmakers and Google DeepMind used AI to help recreate a couple’s memory of their first meeting, which was never caught on film. The documentary short 'Love, Rendered' follows Burt and Ethelle Shatz as Burt faces memory loss, and involves Ethelle as an active collaborator in digitally reconstructing the scene. Director Liz Garbus and Darren Aronofsky’s creative group Primordial Soup led the project.

OpenAI rolls out GPT-6 Astra to most paying users
OpenAI has made its new GPT-6 Astra model available to most paying subscribers a day after its official launch.
