AI tool lets police ID homes from a single interior photo
A tool called Raven, made by Graylark Technologies, lets police upload a single photo of a home's interior and quickly identify the exact residence by comparing it to millions of property images scraped from sites like Airbnb and Zillow. Agencies in Los Angeles and Miami-Dade have purchased access. Unlike reverse image searches, Raven matches unique details to listings, even if the photos aren't identical or are old.
- Developed by Graylark Technologies as 'Raven'
- Used by LAPD and Miami-Dade police departments
- Finds a home's location from one interior image
- Sources property data from listing sites
- Can match photos even if they're not exact duplicates
