Amazon CloudWatch Omni launches for AI and app monitoring
Amazon has introduced CloudWatch Omni, a new tool that helps teams monitor both generative AI agents and traditional applications. Omni collects detailed traces and lets you compare prompt versions, test agents with real data, and monitor systems from either your code editor or a dedicated web app. It works with existing telemetry and doesn’t require AWS Console access. All traces are stored together, so developers and operators see the same data.
