Bessemer raises $5.75 billion for more AI investments
Bessemer Venture Partners just closed $5.75 billion in new funds, most of it aimed at growth-stage AI startups. $4 billion will go to growth investments, with $1.75 billion set aside for bets on young companies. Bessemer’s been active: over 260 AI deals since 2022, and $3 billion invested in AI so far. The firm says big AI startups now need bigger checks—and they’re planning to write them.

ChatGPT Images 2.5 adds faster editing tools
OpenAI has updated its ChatGPT Images feature to version 2.5, adding several new editing tools and speeding up image generation. You can now remove backgrounds, resize images to preset dimensions, erase items by brushing over them, and use markup and comment functions directly from a new Edit toolbar.
