Chinese AI models lag far behind OpenAI, Anthropic in revenue
A new report says seven top Chinese AI companies together make just 10% of what OpenAI and Anthropic rake in. Researchers estimate that Chinese AI firms earned around $10.7 billion in annual recurring revenue, compared to over $100 billion for OpenAI and Anthropic combined. Despite surging user adoption, Chinese AI startups are valued much higher relative to what they actually earn.

OpenAI rolls out GPT-6 Astra to most paying users
OpenAI has made its new GPT-6 Astra model available to most paying subscribers a day after its official launch. According to TechRadar, the features are available in both web and app versions, though OpenAI hasn't formally announced the rollout yet.
