CloudNC, a UK startup that makes AI-powered software for automating how machinists program cutting machines, just raised $20 million. That brings its total funding to $128 million. Over 1,000 machine shops worldwide use its 'CAM Assist' tool—mostly in the US—which plugs into existing programming systems to speed up repetitive planning tasks. The new funds will help CloudNC reach more shops and develop new tools for quoting projects.
