Databricks launches ai_decide for fast data decisions
Databricks just released ai_decide, a new AI function designed to make quick, structured decisions on company data—think classifying support tickets, scoring customer reviews, or routing requests to the right model. Unlike general-purpose language models that generate text, ai_decide uses a specialized decision model to output precise choices or scores in less time, and at lower cost. It’s available now in beta for Databricks customers via SQL or REST API.
