Google Earth Engine adds Gemini-powered coding assistant
Google added a new AI assistant called Ask to its Earth Engine geospatial platform. Ask sits inside the code editor and uses Gemini, Google's large language model, to help users generate, debug, and optimize JavaScript geospatial queries. It can pull details from your active script, search documentation, and suggest datasets, all without leaving the editor. It also lets you compare and merge code changes with a click.
