Google.org backs AI initiatives in higher education
Google.org is funding two projects aimed at helping colleges use AI in practical ways. The Coalition of Urban Serving Universities, working with a network of public universities, is adding AI-driven coursework to its training for faculty and advisors, especially to better support adult learners who tend to drop out earlier. Thirty universities will test these new teaching methods, hoping they’ll help more students succeed and prepare for careers.
