Google has introduced AlphaEvolve, a tool that automates code optimization to speed up video processing in real-time streaming apps. Instead of weeks of manual tuning, AlphaEvolve uses AI models in Google Cloud to rewrite and test code on your target hardware, steadily improving performance on the fly. In tests with DoIt, it found optimizations that manual profiling missed. The process applies beyond video, to any performance-critical system.
