Google unveils ToolGrad for efficient AI tool-use datasets
Google introduced ToolGrad, a new method for creating datasets that teach AI models to use digital tools efficiently. Unlike older approaches that rely on trial-and-error, ToolGrad starts with the correct solution and then builds user instructions for it. Early results show this method generates more complex data at lower cost, and AI models trained on ToolGrad match top proprietary systems on tasks involving unfamiliar tools.

OpenAI rolls out GPT-6 Astra to most paying users
OpenAI has made its new GPT-6 Astra model available to most paying subscribers a day after its official launch.
