Perplexity's Local AI Agent Launches for Nvidia Windows PCs
Perplexity just released its Portable Computer agent for Windows PCs with Nvidia GeForce RTX or RTX PRO graphics cards. The tool runs AI tasks locally, so sensitive files stay on the device and you avoid cloud credit costs. It can review engineering projects in GitHub, analyze tax documents, and post insights to Slack, all without sending your data off your computer. Cloud model support kicks in only if you give permission.

OpenAI rolls out GPT-6 Astra to most paying users
OpenAI has made its new GPT-6 Astra model available to most paying subscribers a day after its official launch.
