AWS adds cross-account EBS volume clone feature
AWS now lets you instantly clone EBS storage volumes to other AWS accounts. You can choose to re-encrypt the copies with a key from the new account, as long as the original wasn’t protected by AWS’s default encryption. Sharing uses AWS Resource Access Manager, and the whole process is trackable in AWS monitoring tools. Pricing applies to the new cloned volumes from the moment they're created.

Apple raises iPhone prices by $100 across current models
Apple has bumped up the prices of its entire current iPhone lineup by $100. The iPhone 17 now starts at $899, the iPhone Air begins at $1,099, the iPhone 17e is $699, and the iPhone 16 moves to $799. This is happening alongside the launch of pricier iPhone 18 Pro models. Apple says supply chain costs for memory and storage are driving the price increases.
