AWS Middle East outages persist after war damage
Amazon Web Services says it still can't restore its Bahrain cloud region or one of its main United Arab Emirates data zones, months after both suffered physical damage in this spring's Iran war. While the company is working to help customers recover in other regions, AWS doesn't expect Bahrain service back until early 2027, and it's not yet clear if all lost data can be recovered.
