Circle set to acquire payments firm Tazapay in all-stock deal
Circle has agreed to buy Singapore-based payments startup Tazapay in an all-stock deal reportedly worth $400 million, though the companies haven’t officially confirmed the price. Circle plans to use Tazapay’s banking connections and global payment tools to boost adoption of its USDC stablecoin. Tazapay claims it handles $25 billion in annual transactions and works with over 60 banking partners. The deal should close in 2027, pending regulatory approval.

US opens investigation after Tesla Cybercab launch
