Meta expands anti-scam education campaign in Asia-Pacific
Meta announced it has reached over 303 million people in Asia-Pacific with its 'One Step Ahead' anti-scam education campaign. Launched in partnership with more than 25 local safety groups, law enforcement, and government agencies, the campaign shares practical safety advice and promotes security features on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The initiative, which started in May 2026, delivered more than 1.3 billion impressions and will continue with new tools and resources.
