Mod lets AMD GPUs run NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, still experimental
An open-source project called d4r has introduced early support for NVIDIA's latest DLSS upscaling tech on new AMD Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards. Normally, DLSS is exclusive to NVIDIA, but this workaround taps AMD's hardware to run DLSS 4 and 4.5. Performance on AMD's newest GPUs is untested and the project is not stable. For now, it proves compatibility is possible, not practical.
- d4r project brings DLSS 4/4.5 to Radeon RX 9000 cards
- Leverages AMD's native FP8 math support
- Currently experimental and untested on target hardware
- Existing support for Radeon RX 7700 XT only
- Runs DLSS dll via Linux and translation layers
