Dutch police arrest former hacker in ShinyHunters probe
Dutch police have arrested Pepijn van der Stap, a previously convicted hacker, in connection with an ongoing investigation into the cybercriminal group ShinyHunters. Authorities confirmed the arrest of a 24-year-old man in Amsterdam earlier this month and say he is being held while they examine ties to recent data theft and extortion attacks. Van der Stap had earlier served prison time for similar offenses.
