Times Car breach exposes data of 6.6 million accounts
Japanese car-sharing service Times Car confirmed a data breach affecting about 6.6 million accounts. Attackers gained access to personal information including names, addresses, contact details, and identification documents, but not credit card numbers. Times Car said passwords were encrypted or hashed, and there's no evidence that the data has been leaked online. The company is notifying affected users in phases and services remain operational.
