AWS automates incident response in OpenSearch with AI agent
AWS now lets you connect its DevOps Agent to OpenSearch logs and alerts, so when something breaks, the AI investigates and delivers a root cause analysis without waiting for a human to dig through logs. Setup works via the Model Context Protocol, whether you host the MCP server yourself, use Bedrock AgentCore, or have OpenSearch 3.3 or later. Finer control over agent access and multiple deployment paths are built in.
- DevOps Agent now connects directly to OpenSearch alerts
- AI agent automates root cause analysis from logs and traces
- MCP integration works across multiple AWS hosting setups
- Access to data controlled by AWS security roles
