Harness unveils rebuilt code repository optimized for AI agents
Harness has launched a redesigned Code Repository and new AI-based Code Review tool to handle surging pull requests generated by automated coding agents. The company says this shift has overwhelmed traditional code review processes, pushing some teams well beyond their capacity. Harness reports its engineers saved over 10,000 hours of manual review using the new system, which also builds in contextual knowledge of software delivery pipelines.

Red Hat adds NVIDIA BlueField to OpenShift

SAP addresses critical security flaw in core software
SAP has released a patch for a maximum severity vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2026-44756, affecting the SAP kernel. Security researchers at Onapsis say over 10,000 internet-exposed SAP systems could be at risk. The flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to send crafted network requests that could let them execute arbitrary operating system commands with administrative privileges. There are currently no reports of active exploitation, but experts recommend immediate patching.
Google Data Cloud adds new AI and analytics tools
Google just launched several new features for its Data Cloud. BigQuery now supports stateful processing in streaming queries, letting you do things like rolling averages in real time (currently in preview). There’s also a ready-to-use synthetic data generator for Managed Kafka, now generally available. And Lakehouse managed tables for Apache Iceberg are in preview, promising easier data management and cross-tool compatibility. Updates to Dataflow pipelines are also rolling out.
