DoorDash unveils new delivery drone and pilot program
DoorDash just showed off its new six-propeller delivery drone, part of its DoorDash Air initiative. The company says most orders should get to customers in under five minutes, with early test deliveries starting soon in Northern California and partners like Chipotle and Popeyes involved. DoorDash designed the system around its existing order data and built new software to coordinate both robot and human delivery.
