Apple Adds Variable Aperture Support to Final Cut Camera

Apple has updated its Final Cut Camera app for iPhone, adding support for the iPhone 18 Pro's variable aperture camera. With version 2.4, users can finally adjust aperture directly—a first for iPhone—using modes like shutter priority or aperture priority. The redesigned app also brings easier access to professional settings, customizable overlays for exposure, and a tally light. The update is free and out now alongside iOS 27.
