Boox Picco is a compact e-reader without Android
Boox unveiled the Picco, a very small e-reader with a 3.97-inch display, at IFA 2026. Unlike other Boox devices, the Picco won't run Android, so you can’t install Kindle or Google Play Books. You’ll mainly read epub files you transfer yourself. The Picco includes a front light, customizable buttons, microSD storage, and USB-C. Boox expects to price it around $100, aiming for a November launch.
