Bose launches $99 wired earbuds with USB-C and noise canceling

Bose just announced its first wired earbuds in more than a decade. The $99 Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds connect with USB-C—so, no normal headphone jack or Bluetooth—and have active noise canceling, with multiple sound modes you pick using a button on the cord. They’re up for preorder now and are expected to ship mid-October, with some sources giving October 15 and others October 13.
