Firefox 157 launches with Nova UI and AV1 call support
Mozilla's released Firefox 157, turning on its new Nova interface by default. The design brings a softer, more rounded look across tabs, menus, and sidebars, plus pastel color options. The update also improves HDR video playback and syncs audio and video better at different speeds. Notably, Firefox 157 adds hardware decoding for AV1 in video calls and drops its built-in Amazon search engine.
