Glyphs 4 adds new font design tools and features
Glyphs 4, the font creation app, just launched with a big update. You can now finely adjust stroke width and angle, draw in full color with gradients and blends, and visually manage kerning groups by dragging glyphs. There's a new sidebar to access tools faster, oblique font creation is much simpler, and script editing is more robust with debugging features. You can preview fonts live within the app.

Apple to announce first foldable iPhone next week

Xiaomi just launched the 18 Fold, a foldable phone powered by its own Xring O3 processor and a 7.58-inch main screen. The chip boosts CPU performance by 60% over the previous model and lowers power use by up to 25%, according to the company. Prices start around $1,639, topping out at $2,384 for a limited ceramic edition. No word yet on whether it’s leaving China.
