AI cloud startup Lambda raising $4B before planned IPO
Lambda, a cloud company specializing in AI computing, is seeking to raise $4 billion in a round led by Coatue Management and Blackstone, valuing it at $14.5 billion before the money comes in. This would be Lambda’s last private raise before a possible 2027 IPO. Its order backlog reportedly surged to $50 billion in September, with a single $35 billion commitment from Anthropic making up most of the jump.
