Belgian tech firms pulled in €1.09B in H1 2026
From January to June 2026, Belgium's technology sector secured €1.09 billion in funding, but nearly four-fifths of that came from a single deal: analytics company Kpler raised €859 million. Most funding activity by count was in early stages, yet the overall total was dominated by big, later-stage investments. Startups in analytics, software, and transport led in deal value, but early-stage bets were spread widely across industries.
- Kpler’s €859M deal accounted for 79% of total funding
- Early-stage deals were numerous but smaller in size
- Series A rounds brought in €50M, seed rounds €38M
- Funding reached most sectors, not just analytics
