European tech startups raise over €2B in a week
Last week, tech startups across Europe closed over €2 billion in funding across more than 65 deals, according to Tech.eu. Robotics (€508M), AI (€407M), and healthtech (€306M) attracted the most investment. Portugal led for a single country, with €511 million raised. The standout deal was Portugal’s Tekever, a drone company, pulling in $580 million at a $6.4 billion valuation. Several other AI, cloud, and healthtech firms also secured significant rounds.
