Intellijoint Surgical grows independently in Canada
Intellijoint Surgical, launched by Waterloo grads 16 years ago, initially expected to sell out early but has instead chosen to grow as a standalone company. The team built surgical navigation tools to improve hip and knee replacements and earned regulatory clearance in 2013. Intellijoint says its focus on useful, efficient products was shaped by working directly in Canadian operating rooms.
