Simple Energy raises $180M to grow e-scooter business
Electric scooter startup Simple Energy just closed a $180 million Series C round, its biggest yet. The Bengaluru-based company now has $264 million in total funding. The new cash will go to ramping up marketing, engineering, supply chain, and hiring. Simple Energy currently sells three e-scooters, operates 80 outlets in 60 Indian cities, and plans to double its store count over the next three years.
