Well Health spins out Wellstar, now trading on TSX Venture
Well Health, the Canadian network of medical clinics and healthtech services, just spun out its software business, Wellstar, which is now trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the ticker WSTR. Wellstar is majority-owned by Well Health, has raised $148 million CAD, and acquired two medical billing companies ahead of the move. Three out of five Wellstar board members are from Well Health.
