Anthropic updates policy to ban abusive behavior toward AI model
Anthropic has revised its usage policy for its Claude AI model to expressly prohibit users from engaging in prolonged, abusive interactions with the system. The new rules, effective November 12, also bar election interference, development of weapons software, and unauthorized surveillance. The company clarified that the abuse ban targets only extreme, repeated cruelty and does not apply to ordinary complaints, creative content, or research use.
