ChatGPT adds virtual try-on shopping tools
OpenAI has released two shopping features for ChatGPT: virtual try-on and product favoriting. Users can now submit a photo of themselves—either a face shot or whole body—and see a generated preview wearing a chosen clothing item or accessory. The system works with both recommended products and images users upload. There’s also a new way to bookmark clothing finds in a personal library for later. Everything runs on OpenAI’s ChatGPT Images 2.5 model.
- Virtual try-on now live on ChatGPT worldwide
- Upload your photo for clothing previews
- Works on both recommended and user-uploaded items
- Favorites lets you collect products in-app
