Fan-Made AI Fallout Game Pulled After Legal Threat
A fan-made Fallout browser game, created using Claude Opus 5.5 AI, went offline after Bethesda's parent company, ZeniMax, sent a cease-and-desist order. The project, revealed online just days earlier, featured over 100 locations and characters but borrowed the Fallout name and themes. Its creator set it to private following the legal notice. Bethesda hasn't publicly commented, but official Fallout projects remain in development.
