Fireworks launches Ember-1 model for faster, cheaper outputs

Fireworks Research just released Ember-1, an AI model built on Kimi K3, that delivers answers as good as Kimi’s but typically does so using about 40% fewer 'thinking' tokens—chunks of computational steps you pay for. In testing, Ember-1 matched Kimi’s accuracy on hard logic and coding tasks, while completing jobs up to three times faster. Pricing is similar to Kimi on Fireworks, though other Kimi providers can be cheaper.
