Google Arts & Culture helps build AI-powered metaverse sculpture
Google Arts & Culture collaborated on an interactive art installation at Frieze London—a huge spider-shaped sculpture and multiplayer video game hybrid by artist Theo Triantafyllidis. The team used Gemini, Google's AI model, to help design the game's characters and world, blending physical sculpture with a shared virtual environment. The piece encourages cooperation, both on the installation and inside its digital world, running publicly October 14-18.
