Nvidia backs new AI safety and security alliance
Nvidia is defending a newly formed Open Secure AI Alliance focused on developing and sharing tools to improve AI safety and cybersecurity. Launched shortly after a security breach at Hugging Face, the group counts over 100 tech companies as members, including Mistral, Hugging Face, UiPath, Microsoft, Adobe, and Dell. The alliance is now managed by the Linux Foundation. Notably, OpenAI, Google, and Meta have not joined yet, citing an ongoing vetting process.
