OpenAI just launched a new $500-per-month Pro plan for ChatGPT with its highest usage limits yet and faster GPT-6 Astra access. But starting October 30, the company is slashing the included allowance in its $200 plan by half — reducing weekly GPT-6 Pro messages from 200 to 100 and cutting total usage from 20x to 10x that of the $20 Plus plan. Current $200 plan users get a $2,500 usage credit as a cushion.
