Blizzard unveils Starcraft shooter for 2030 at BlizzCon
Blizzard has announced a new open-world shooter game in the Starcraft universe, simply called Starcraft, at BlizzCon 2026. This marks the first major Starcraft game news in about a decade. The game is distinct from the long-canceled Starcraft: Ghost and is slated for release in 2030. Blizzard showed a short teaser cinematic during the reveal.
