Capcom executive hints at more Resident Evil remakes
A Capcom executive has strongly suggested that remakes of Resident Evil 5 and 6 could be on the table, after previous reports indicated otherwise. Jun Takeuchi, a longtime leader on the franchise, told a Japanese magazine that Capcom is preparing for its remake series to eventually catch up to the newer Resident Evil entries and has been setting this up for years. Fan excitement over past remakes seems to be pushing Capcom to reconsider its plans.
