Reddit to further restrict access to Old Reddit and end RSS feeds
Reddit announced it will soon restrict access to its Old Reddit interface to only those logged-in users who have used it in the past six months, citing efforts to combat web scraping and automated abuse. In addition, Reddit plans to discontinue support for all RSS feeds by November 2026. Moderators will retain access to Old Reddit regardless of usage history, but the RSS cutoff could affect subreddit management workflows.
