Huawei and Qualcomm sign multi-year patent agreement
Huawei has signed a broad, multi-year patent licensing deal with Qualcomm, covering AI, 5G, computing, and networking technologies. Qualcomm is also set to purchase certain Huawei U.S. patents. This is the first time the two companies’ agreement includes 5G, and the deal is expected to help push Huawei’s total patent licensing value above $6.9 billion.
