Microsoft 365 Family cuts shared OneDrive storage to 2TB
Microsoft is reducing OneDrive cloud storage on Microsoft 365 Family and Premium plans from 6TB—1TB per user for up to six people—to a 2TB total, shared across all users. This change doesn't cost less: the subscription price stays the same, but families lose two-thirds of their included storage. The new policy rolls out for existing subscribers after their first renewal post-May 2027.

- Affects Family and Premium Microsoft 365 plans
