Two top Microsoft leaders announce departures
Peter Lee, who ran Microsoft Research and later led science initiatives at the company, is leaving after 16 years for what he calls a 'once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.' At the same time, Ryan Roslansky, former LinkedIn CEO and current executive vice president overseeing LinkedIn and Office, is stepping down after 18 years. Both will depart by the end of the year, with Roslansky citing a desire to remain in the Bay Area.
