AMD EPYC "Verano" CPUs may adopt new SB1 socket
Dynatron, a server cooler maker, now says its upcoming products will support AMD's EPYC "Verano" CPUs using a new socket called SB1. AMD hasn't confirmed this socket yet. "Verano" is AMD's Zen 6-based server chip, announced for release in 2027, with up to 72 cores and designed for AI server clusters.
