European thermal sensor project aims for fourfold production boost
Project Foundation, launched by The Fourth Law and Odd Systems, plans to expand Europe's output of uncooled thermal sensors to four times its current level and double US production within three years. The initiative, based in Eindhoven, aims to secure sensor supply for defense and other industries by building manufacturing capacity for microbolometers, which allow imaging in darkness and poor weather.
