Montage begins mass production of Gen 5 DDR5 RCD
Montage Technology has started mass production of its fifth-generation DDR5 Register Clock Driver, or RCD05. This chip enables faster, more reliable RAM for data centers and AI servers. The RCD05 supports data rates up to 8000 MT/s, an 11% boost over the previous version. It's built to the industry-standard DDR5 specs, with extra features to improve signal quality. Next-generation server memory gets a bandwidth upgrade.
