Synopsys and Amazon deepen silicon and AI tech partnership
Synopsys and Amazon have signed a new multi-year agreement to speed up Amazon’s custom chip designs and cloud infrastructure. Amazon will use more of Synopsys’ chip design IP, simulation tools, and new AI technologies to help build and validate complex processors like its Graviton and Trainium chips. The two will also apply AI to streamline engineering workflows for faster and better results. Synopsys, in turn, will use Amazon’s cloud and AI platforms for its own product development.
